Lacrosse is a great game and it takes courage to play it. It exposes the failings of those who are afraid to go to the front of the net. Lacrosse allows you to identify people with leadership skills. In Lacrosse, leaders go where the action is and face their opposition.

I am proud to think that this sport has been recognized as part of our heritage. It deserves to recognized by the Prime Minister. At the appropriate time.

It deserves better than to be used as cover by a coward.

I read the Don Martin link and the comments are so telling. Con supporters--the sore, ungracious winners that they are--hurling at us all 'against them'. Their opinions and rationalizations of CPC policy and lack of principle, are exactly why I'd rather be in the desert a hundred years with the Lib/NDP camp, than a moment with theirs. Border-line hate messaging in print and calling a leader of a party "Taliban Jack"? As if that furthers their argument or achieves anything? Whatever, they're everywhere. Harper has appealed to the basest instincts in man and it seems to be contagious. Way to legislate from gut emotion Van Loan/CPC. Why not give us all our own vigilante badges and we'll just be Blackwaters unto ourselves? I have zero interest in dialogue with the Con commenters here. How does one debate or learn from such people as have been compared to a piece of furniture? LK
