Is H1N1 vaccine shortage a game changer?

The Conservatives have displayed a disgraceful level of incompetence on past medical files and never had to pay the price. The media applied Teflon allowed the ordure of the Listeriosis outbreak and Nuclear Isotope bungle slide right off of them. Why this happened is puzzling unless it is a result of a lot of voters thinking that those cock-ups won't hurt them. Sad to think that people are so selfish but that may be the case.

But the long line-ups are a sign that a lot of people are frightened by this pandemic. As it becomes ever more clear that a large segment of the population are going to be affected by this latest bit of incompetence the shellac might start to flake off a bit leaving open the possibility of them getting really shellacked.

Maybe if the Liberals had voiced a policy months ago to deal with pandemics, they would have the right to hold themselves up as a better alternative than the Conservatives. However, they didn't voice any such policy, in fact they didn't voice any policy, in case the Conservatives stole their ideas. BTW it was interesting to see BR making his bid for the party leadership the day after MI cleaned house.

The answer's obvious: yes, it's a game changer.

The Cons are incapable of acting in the best interest of all Canadians, because they don't believe in public policy. They believe in ruining, and not running, government.

The first party that presents itself as best able to run government in the best interest of all Canadians, without being partisan, will win the next election by a landslide.
