By My Works Shalt Thou Know Me - Sacrificial Lamb edition

Devin Maxwell has the goods on who laid the accusation of embezzlement against Bill Casey.   Isn't it strange how a party that prides itself on strong discipline has so many loose cannons that must resign in disgrace.  It must be very frustrating for the uppermost levels of the Conservative Party.  It is a shame for a party to lose someone like Diana Reid-Miedema.  Lower level functionaries with such a strong grasp of Elections Canada laws are hard to find.

And she is hyper religious to boot.  I am confident then that she is familiar with this quote from the bible:
"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (Jn 1:29)
This is, of course, the provenance of the term sacrificial lamb.

Granted; I'm not a strategic genius and all that but it would appear to me that when the fiscal crazies are pulling their poles out on one side, asking the religious crazies holding up the other poles to continually fall on their swords of god is a bad way to hold the tent up.
