John Stuart Mill is proven correct again

This time by Harper's mole in the Senate: Mick Duffy.
"Conservatives are not necessarily stupid, but most stupid people are conservative."
- John Stuart Mill (1806-1873)
First example of stupidity; as a former "reporter" Duffy should know that the media is going to wring everything out of this that they can.  It fills space and sells copy.  So to hear him complain about his treatment over the childish and churlish comments about Williams and Ghiz like this:"
How long can you keep this angle going? Why don’t you talk about the budget? Why don’t you talk about the relationship between the provinces and the federal government? Why don’t you talk about things that matter to Canadians rather than try to trap me into saying something stupid so you’ll have another angle," Mr. Duffy said. "It’s just ridiculous. It’s childish."
makes me feel sorry for the fool.

Stupid is as stupid does part two is shown by this:
"Joe Ghiz (Robert Ghiz’s late father and former Island premier) knew what he was doing. Joe Ghiz was a very smart guy," Mr. Duffy said. "And I am afraid, Robert . . . well, anyway, I’ll just leave it at that."
I would advise him that if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging but it might go over his head.

And people accorded him any respect as a political pundit.  Sheesh.
