I have posted similar comments on other boards. Harper should resign honorably and with class.
His legacy will be worse if he doesn't. Most of the bad will being published is mostly from his own party.
The coalition members have been excellent about staying on point and not resorting to personal attacks. That's class and honour.
I doubt that he will do the right thing but I thought he should have the chance to salvage something.
Others had said that today as well. I would be very surprised if Harper did resign. He has never stuck me as someone who undersood the concepts of honour and dignity. I see him as a scrapper rather than a statesman.
It looks like others got to this conclusion first. Dang. I must have missed the other ones. Things are moving so fast you can't keep up.
Yes, things have been moving very fast. It's a full time job just to keep up with things.
Imagine how hard our soon-to-be new coalition government has been working these past few days. They have my utmost admiration and gratitude.
