When he got elected, I knew it would be like a horror movie. I didn't know it would be this one.

Well, CV, of course he wants "warm" relations with Obama - has to keep the tar sands going no matter the cost. It's to keep Alberta economically viable. And it already has billions PLUS receives equalization payments on top of that.
Forget Ontario where the manufacturing industry (auto sector) is sinking faster than the Titanic. I expect some mild lip service & help in that area but not much.
Harper sickens me. Nothing but a brownnose to the U.S. no matter who's in power.

I agree in general with your thoughts but I do think that Alberta pays into equalization. But that does not detract from the fact that conservatives, in Alberta or elsewhere, tend to be whiners and can't look to see how by helping someone we are all better off.
I think the current brown nosing is out of fear because he knows that he will look very small next to the President-elect.
